Q. Why should I buy the computer disk that accompanies the lists you sell?
A. Pan American Enterprises mails over 1,000,000 pieces of mail each year (some of which is for clients of Pan American Enterprises). Pan American has found that mailings need to be done on a regular basis between 3 times per year and 6 times per year. Sending one mailing is like attending one trade show OR running an advertisement in a magazine one time. Constant and continued contact between vendor and buyer is important for successful direct mail marketing.
Q. How often is your list data updated?
A. Pan American Enterprises also uses it's own data for marketing projects. The data is generally used every 30 to 45 days and changes are made daily.
Q. I have sent out brochures before but they were not successful. Why try again?
A. Pan American Enterprises has found two areas in direct mail marketing that need to be present for the mail piece to work:
- You need to have a good offer - a unique item to offer that the buyer will feel the need to buy.
- You need to present the offer in a way that the buyer can easily respond.
Q. Some companies told me that some addresses are not correct. Why should I buy them anyway?
A. We maintain a database of over 50,000 company addresses worldwide so it is very, very difficult (if not impossible) to have each list be perfect. There is usually a margin of error of 5% of bad data. We ALWAYS compensate our buyers by giving them from 10% to 20% more company addresses than what we advertise in any of our brochure listings.
EXAMPLE:
Our current brochure states that there are 1,300 company addresses for LIST#0006.T. But we actually have 1380 addresses in that list so if 5% are undeliverable that would mean a return of 69 addresses and a successful mailing of 1311 addresses.
Q. Can I customize the mailing label to suit my specific requirements?
As an example, I would like to add "Attention: DIAMOND BUYER" to the mailing label.
A. YES, Pan American Enterprises can add an extra line of text to the mailing label (at no extra charge to you).

Q. Do jewelry manufacturers and wholesalers like getting emails?
A. Pan American Enterprises uses its own email databases for marketing purposes. We always put a line at the bottom of the email message for "un-subscribing" for the instances where the receiver does not to receive future emails. We receive some "un-subscribes" with each emailing but the number is very, very small. With each broadcast emailing Pan American Enterprises does, it gets more inquiries and orders than requests from companies to be taken off the list.
