Best of the best...ahead of the rest...The G.L.D.A. Tucson Show once again illustrates how quality, selection and competitive pricing in a buyer friendly luxurious atmosphere is the winning formula for a successful gem and jewelry show in today’s market. Hotel rooms at the Starr Pass Marriott Resort were SOLD OUT for the G.L.D.A. show which helped to guarantee the show’s success. “The room situation at the resort made a big difference this year. All rooms were sold during the G.L.D.A. show dates. Buyers staying at the Starr Pass Marriott came to Tucson expecting luxury accommodations and excellent buying opportunities at the G.L.D.A. show and they were not disappointed” said Tanna Wyatt, President of G.L.D.A. This year exhibitors eagerly anticipated another successful show. Last years show was the best ever for many exhibitors but this year’s proved to be even better.
Buyers streamed into the G.L.D.A. show on opening day. The rainy weather did not dampen spirits as the entry to the show was packed with eager buyers. Near capacity crowds quickly entered the exhibition space.

“There are only a handful of major gem and jewelry shows in the world that advertise as much as the G.L.D.A. shows do” stated Paul Page, the Marketing Director for G.L.D.A. Inc. Advertising paid off as G.L.D.A. continues to run full page four color ads in 75 publications in 29 countries world wide.

Buyers agreed that this show was a pleasure to shop with wider aisles, elegant carpeted exhibit halls, and all exhibit areas located in one central location. Elegant surroundings and breath-taking views greet visitors to the resort. Fabulous restaurants, lounges and patios allow buyers to take a break and eat or just relax and have a drink.

The German Pavilion expanded their space this year and their elegant and beautiful displays filled a whole room with the unique, the creative and the magnificent. The friendly, comfortable boutique atmosphere enticed and enchanted buyers. G.L.D.A. is proud to have the German group represented at their show.

There was also a special presentation of Indian Exhibitors who were part of the IACC Indo-American Chamber of Commerce Rajasthan Branch. This India Pavilion was very popular with the buyers. They displayed their regional pieces, cut stones, gold and silver designs.

G.L.D.A. achieved their goal of attracting excellent new foreign and domestic direct source dealers who gave the buyers the best possible goods at the lowest prices.
